“Inhaling deeply, my senses fill with the comforting smells of sweet hay, dust, and the warm, thick scent that is common among all horses. To stand and be with a horse, encompassing the awe of their strength and gentle nature at the same moment, leaves one utterly breathless. Yet it is in this moment that we tend to take a deeper breath than normal, finding our rhythm slowing down to match that of our furry companion. For it is in the presence of horses that we remember who we are.”

Equine Guided Education
The Circle Seven Ranch offers Equine-guided Education courses, where, through the horses sensory and intuitive responses, we learn and rediscover our own authentic self.  Horses, as teachers, are non-judgmental mirrors into the depths of our inner thoughts and beliefs. Through this experiential learning, horses reflect our internal state of being in the moment, and provide us with feedback to determine whether our not our internal being is congruent with our external presentation of ourselves.

Through one-on-one sessions with the horse, either from the ground or mounted, children, teenagers and adults can embark on a magnificent journey of self discovery, where the rewards are infinite.

“Built in the heart of the Gold Country and nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, the Circle Seven Ranch was designed to bring forth the flavor of the Old West combined with a contemporary style.  Surrounded by hundreds of acres, the ranch is a home, a sanctuary, to many rescued horses, dogs, cats, and a variety of wildlife critters, nesting hawks, eagles and owls.”
