Miracle - "The birth of the little white buffalo fulfilled a prophecy..."

When Miracle was born in Janesville, WI, hundreds of thousands of people embarked on a journey to visit her, as her birth was the coming of a Native American prophecy. The owner of the ranch upon which she was born graciously gave me permission to paint her portrait. I wish that I’d met her, but she passed long before I heard of her story, only living a short 10 years, from 1994 to 2004.
