This moment with Sam, my magical heart horse, was the day I first rode again after years of illness, it was the first time Sam had ever seen the ocean, the first time he’d ever been swimming in the ocean, my first time feeling truly free…. he gave me legs when I had none, and together, we had wings…..it was then, at that moment, running down the beach, that I looked out to the ocean and saw we were being followed by a pod of dolphins… Magic
