Rory is a PMU mare that had given birth to many foals on the production line, but was never allowed to be a “mother” until she was rescued by United Pegasus Foundation and adopted into a loving home. The filly to her right was a PMU rescue as well, and even though she was not from her womb, Rory took on the role of raising her, and through this process, it helped heal her wounds of mourning and loss for all the foals that had been taken from her.
