These two gorgeous horses live on my dear friend’s ranch in New Mexico. Jackie Fleming runs Cimarron Sky-Dog Reserve, a horse sanctuary in Cerillos, NM. Although I’d known Jackie for nearly a decade, we’d never met in person until I went on a photography class retreat to New Mexico. She often lets photography students work with her horses, and it was such a pleasure to finally meet in person. These are two of the many horses she has rescued.
