The Art of Being

In the silence, we can hear our own truth…true Wisdom comes from practicing the Art of BE-ing rather than DO-ing.

As I arrived at the ranch to photograph these beautiful horses for their portrait, each one of these sweet natured Arabians greeted me, telling me their story. After lining them up for the photo, and dropping their lead lines on the ground, each one of them started playing and reacting to the others, all without moving their feet, not even an inch. Their antics were both comical and majestic, as if they were players on the stage, acting for the crowd (of one). Painting them was indeed an honor and a blessing.
